Summary

Description: Vaccines are undergoing more critical scrutiny than ever before. Attend this update to review best-practice recommendations, learn about new developments in adult vaccines, and get some answers to concerns that have been brought forth. NOTE: This session will not include influenza, COVID-19, or RSV. Those will be presented in a separate webinar following the 2025 TPA Conference.

At the completion of this activity, pharmacists and technicians will be able to:

  1. Identify changes or updates to the 2025 immunization schedules for adults.
  2. Evaluate the most current Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations.
  3. Determine appropriate answers for the questions that commonly arise and discuss related counseling points and key considerations.
  4. Review current concerns on vaccine safety.  
  5. Examine vaccines under investigation or in the pipeline.

Texas Pharmacy Association (154) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Continuing education will be provided to participants who completed all course requirements.
