Activity Description:
As drug margins shrink and operational pressures mount, pharmacies need to rethink their business models to remain profitable. This session explores how shifting from product-based to service-based revenue can drive long-term sustainability. Attendees will examine how existing AI-powered tools support this transition by improving workflows, reducing staff burnout, and creating clinical capacity. Attendees will gain insights into assessing their pharmacy’s readiness for change and receive a roadmap for safely implementing emerging technologies that unlock new revenue streams.

At the completion of this activity, pharmacists and technicians will be able to:

1. Identify strategies to optimize pharmacy workflows and expand clinical service delivery using existing staffing levels.
2. Understand best practices for training, change management, and readiness assessment to support successful service model transformation.
3. Evaluate and implement emerging AI-powered tools by selecting the right vendor, managing implementation risks, and aligning technology with pharmacy goals.
