Summary
Activity Description:
This presentation will give the attendee the tools necessary to design and implement a construction program that will create a USP 800 compliant room. The attendee will also be given ideas and solutions for consideration when implementing not only the construction of the USP 800 Compliant room, but also in creating SOP's for the facility. The program is designed to assist the attendee with design, construction, and implementation of USP 800 in order to be compliant with the chapter.
At the conclusion of the program, participants should be able to:
1. Identify 3 different ways to implement a construction program for USP 800.
2. Identify 4 different contractors needed to construct a USP 800 compliant room.
3. Describe 4-5 factors to consider when Implementing USP 800 into their pharmacy practice.
4. Describe 4-5 considerations to take into account when designing a USP 800 compliant room.
This is a knowledge-based CE activity and is targeted to pharmacists and technicians.
The American College of Apothecaries (ACA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. ACA has accredited this program for 1.0 contact hour (0.1 CEUs) of continuing education credit for pharmacists and technicians. ACPE 0201-0000-17-115-L04-P and UAN 0201-0000-17-115-L04-T.
