Umm... That was Awkward: Crucial Conversations and Confrontations

Dr. Kimberly Novak, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS will conduct a 1-hour knowledge-based continuing education webinar program to provide tips and tricks when having crucial conversations and confrontations with resident and student learners. Content can also be applied when having similar conversations with direct reports or even with peers and bosses.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Identify scenarios where crucial conversations are needed in a learning environment or workplace
2. Set an optimal stage for a productive crucial conversation
3. Use optimal communication and emotion management strategies when conducting a crucial conversation
ACPE logo PPAG has accredited this knowledge-based webinar for 1.0 contact hours (0.10 CEUs) of continuing education credit for pharmacists. UAN # 0180-0000-18-006-H04-P.

BCPPS Recertification Credit is also available for PPAG members if you select that pricing option during registration. Participants will be required to complete an evaluation and pass an exam in order to receive their certificate. Once the exam is passed, participants will receive 1 hour BCPPS credit.

The Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. In order to receive credit, participants must register for the program, attend the program, and fill out a post-program survey. Webinar programs are 100% supported through program registration fees and PPAG membership dues, and is not supported by Industry.

Group Pricing: Group pricing is available through online registration for CE only. Groups will need to email Lauren Henretty at their attendance list with each participants name, email, NABP# and DOB in order to receive credit.

Kimberly Novak, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS is the Advanced Patient Care Pharmacist in Pediatric and Adult Cystic Fibrosis at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
