Summary

Get ready to get social. Join us as Debbie Platts shares strategies that leaders can implement to manage and engage on the professional social network LinkedIn. Learn about the benefits of the platform as well as the critical steps users must perform in order to realize those benefits. This session will focus on techniques for making a profile get noticed, approaches for posting and suggested criteria for connecting and following. Additionally, participants will receive a worksheet to reference as they update or build their LinkedIn profiles.

At the completion of this activity, pharmacists and technicians will be able to:
1. List the benefits of being active on LinkedIn.
2. Describe the key components for building a strong and impactful profile.
3. Develop strategies for networking on LinkedIn.

”ACPETexas Pharmacy Association (154) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Continuing education will be provided to participants who completed all course requirements. This lesson is an application-based CE activity and is targeted to pharmacists and technicians.
