Pharmacy and Self Disruption

Disrupt or be disrupted. Pharmacy is no exception to the law of self-disruption, and changes in our industry are occurring on all fronts including product mix shift, digital health, payer value, and industry consolidation. Pharmacy has an opportunity to capitalize on these changes and identify patients' unmet needs. Chris Dimos and his panel of all-star professionals and industry leaders will discuss healthcare trends affecting pharmacy, self-disruption and why it is relevant, and how it is impacting their respective business.

At the completion of this activity, pharmacists and technicians will be able to:
1. Identify trends impacting healthcare and pharmacy.
2. Explain the importance of pharmacy to remain competitive in an ever-changing healthcare market.
3. Discuss self-disruption as it pertains to pharmacy.
4. Describe patient care implications for pharmacy self-disruption.

”ACPETexas Pharmacy Association (154) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Continuing education will be provided to participants who completed all course requirements.
